I'm always trying different pellets to see how they burn, I bought some country boy, they burn hot a lot less ash since they are oak and not a mixture like I'm using now. This stuff costs $60 more a ton then what I'm using now. That $60 would heat me another 16 days with what I'm using now....so of with the many pellets I have used I rate in performance #1 country boy $5.50 a bag #2 stove chow 4.09 a bag #3 natures heat $5.00 a bag #4 green team $3.89 a bag
Englander pdvc 1,500.
I have a Pioneer Bay (by Lopi) stove insert and this is my 6th year burning pellets. I have tried many different brands and the Country Boy White Lightening are by far the best overall that I have used. They burn Hot! I keep my stove one setting lower than with other brands, and clean it about every 5 days. They cost me $260 per ton
Your Country Boy White Lighting wood pellets are the best burning pellets I have ever used! I use three different pellet types, a winrich fireplace insert, a harman pf 100 pellet furnace and a smaller essex dc, in three different homes and have used many different types of pellets. Yours burn hotter and leave less ash than any of the other pellets the I have used.
