Where can I purchase these? I live in Maine and Tractor Supply Co. in Bangor, Maine had them for awhile. They no longer have them nor do they know when they will get them again. I know of five people including myself that would love to purchase them by tons not just by bags. They are great!

Nice high heat but lots of ash and soot on glass, will not burn these again this year but maybe next years will be better.

I HAVE A BIG E STOVE BY BRICKWELL. I HAVE HAD IT FOR 6YRS. I BOUGHT GREEN SUPREME PELLETS FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR AND FIND THEY ARE VERY DUSTY AND LEAVE A LOT OF ASH IN BURN POT AND ON GLASS. I CLEAN MY STOVE AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK IF NOT MORE DEPENDING ON THE AMOUNT OF ASH IN IT. THEY DO BURN HOT BUT LEAVE TO MUCH ASH. I WONT BE BUYING THEM ANYMORE. I ALSO GOT THEM FROM LOWES.

I find this is a much more dusty pellet. I bought 5 tons from Loews. When I take it from the bag it's followed with a cloud of dust. which distributes itself throughout the area. Although it provides a fair amount of heat, it also leaves a lot of ash throughout the stove including on the glass. I clean the stove every other day. I used Green Team last year and it handled and burned much cleaner and somewhat hoter but, I also had jamming problems. My unit is a 55-SHP10 made by Englander Stoves.

Harman Accentra fireplace insert. I purchsed 3 tons from Lowes. The outside tag said NewEngland Pellets shipped from New York plant. These are awful I will never order these again. The ash quantity is not bad but was is left is very heavy and I get a huge amount of clink. I have to scrape out the burn pot daily and chisel the chink out after every 3 bags. This product was cheap but I will gladly pay more for another brand. I went out and bought 3 bags of Freedom pellets and they burned cleaned and had more heat output. Note my brother is burning the same pellets in his Harman stove with a little less issue, his pellets came from the Jafferey NH plant. Stay away from the NY plant pellets.

I did my research and purchased four tons of Greene Supreme Wood Pellets.I paid 197.00 a ton at a local Lowes located in Westboro,MA, and thought I got a great deal. I would say the first ton burned fine in my napoleon stove. Now friends, I have to shut my stove down daily to clean out a ton of soot and unburned clinkers... not fun. I thought at first stove error because the Nepoleon stove can be tempermental but i have narrowed it down to the pellet. I think next year I will pay extra for a different pellet.

Hi I bought 3 tons of your pellets. This my second year using the stove. I have found that some bags burn fine, while other bags leave a lot soot in the burn pot and on the glass. I'm going to buy another brand of high quality pellets and see what I find. So far I'm not a happy camper. By the way the cleaned this year and I clean it about every 4 days. My stove is a Enviro EF3B1
    Any help would be appreciated

I bought these on monday at Lowes in Salem, NH. I'm taking the chance on 5 tons. I notice the bag is a little different then the photo displayed here. I have a photo, email me and I'll send it to you. The bag says its manufactured in NY and NH.

    Jay,

Isn't Green Supreme now Clear Choice bagged by NEWP exclusively for woodpellets.com?

  • Comment Link Jay Takeman Wednesday, 16 February 2011 23:30 posted by Jay Takeman

NEWP no longer rebags these. Comparable pellets would be Dragon Mountain, Okanagan or Spruce Pointes.
