    Additional Info

    • Admin Review: I burned these all winter 2009-2010. I bought them from pelletsales.com / now woodpellets.com and I liked them. They burned really hot in my Lopi Leyden and did the job. I would and plan on buying about half the amount for next year. I have a bunch left over because I've been burning as many different brands of pellets I can get my hands on for this site.

I burn the LG pellets in an Englander 25V for supplemental heat for our Oil. I burn about 3 Tons a year. I run the stove for about 20 hours a day and clean it daily as the burn plate on my stove is not the best design. I love the low ash and high heat output I get from the LG pellets, there does not seem to be a better combination and the price is quite stable, at least for the last 4 years. I would recommend everyone try at least a few bags to see if they are a good fit.

I have a Harmon XXV stove. Heats about 2100 sq ft. This is the 4th season. I burned LG 2 years ago and burned the cleanfire premium plus last year. Seemed to produce more ash. I liked the LG granules better, less ash, seemed to burn cleaner and hotter, pellets lit easier. This year went back to the LG. Burn 4 tons a year. I clean at least once per week depending on usage. It runs 24 hrs a day off of the room air sensor. Prices have been stable for the last 4 years. Love it.

I have used the LG Wood Pellets for a cuple of years and after trying some of the other brands sold by Lowes and Home Depot and Wal-Mart, the LG product is the best, so far.
I get great heat, low ash and am very satisfied with everything but the price I have to pay.
Looking for a better price for this great products. $375.00 plus 6.25% sales tax and absorbitant deliver fee, makes it a little tough. We used 3 tons a year.

I have a Breckwell Big E and for the most part I have burned New England and have been satisfied until this past year. Lots of ash and lots of cleaning. I have experimented with lots of brands for short spans and find that these companies need to find a way to achieve some consistency with their product. I will be trying the LG's for the upcoming heating season. I did a trial with them and they had significantly less ash as compared to New England.

I have used New England Pellets for a couple of years and will no longer purchase them. They produce lots of residue and ash and not as much heat as the soft wood pellets. I like the LG and Okanagan the best. The ash is so much less and the heat output is excellent. This year I have already purchased 3 tons of LG as the price is definitely very good in the Spring.

I purchased 3 tons of LG granule pellets with high expectations and so far I'm not to thrilled, the ash volume it tremendous I clean my stove daily because it builds up fast! I also noticed I've been burning two bags daily keeping the stove on medium. This is my third winter using the stove and this brand so far hasn't been as successful as I thought.

I found the LG Pellets to be very poor quality. Manifold temperature was 25-35 degrees less at all heat settings and the high ash created enormous amounts of extra regular cleaning. This was the second and last time I will try them.

Where did you get the LG pellets? I have used New England pellets for the last couple of years and noticed this yeat that they do not seem to be putting out as much heat as in the past. A pellet stove dealer just told me that I should try soft wood pellets.

Good to know I just purchased 4.5 tons of LG and like you was highly disappointed by NEWP had to clean burn box after 4 bags. I have also just tried Turman Hardwoods and was quite pleased with their performance.

LG Pellets are excellent. I have been using them for 2 years. High heat Low ash. I just bought some NEW ENGLAND WOODPELLETS they were on craigs list the fellow was moving. They are terrible low heat and too much ash. I only bought 10 bags and will never buy New England again. LG PELLETS spoiled me. I"M in Hudson Valley NY.
