Admin Review: I can tell that the folks over at Great Lakes Renewable Energy, Inc in Hayward, WI, say "you don't know what cold is" and mean it,,, After having received a bag of these little logs in the mail, I quickly scooped out what was left of the Platinum Fire Pellets to make way for the Lumber Jack Pellets. I always look forward to burning a variety of pellets throughout the season and now wish I could burn these even longer. One bag was not enough for my stove. The pellets gave me a bit of a dancing flame on the lower of settings on my stove, however after turning up the stove to mid range power, these pellets really came to life and threw out the heat I expected. Very nice pellet, very low ash. Thumbs up!! When talking to my brother in January or February, who lives in Madison WI, I try not to make mention if we had a really cold night (below 0 or -5.) Reason is because I can hear his eyes rolling in his head which is quickly followed by a sarcastic brotherly jab where my name is changed to Sally or Suzie along with telling me to take off a skirt or some other women's article of clothing. Wisconsin nights get cold,,,, stupid cold. Stay warm up there in Badgerland and keep warm with the Lumber Jacks!

I run 4 different pellet stoves 2 at home and 2 at my business. Lumberjack is the best pellet I could find for my Bixby and US stove. It also does very well in breckwell big E and Cumberland. Nice consistent clean pellet. Definately a hotter & better buring pellet. 4 pellets to avoid are ozark, michigan, Marth, and Indeck (worst on btus, ash, consitency and stove operation) in my opinion.

I have been using Lumber Jack Brand pellets for a couple of years now and I am extremely satisfied with their pellet for a couple of reasons. First of all they are 100% wood product (no extra ingredients such as plastic or oils to increase the b.t.u. or heat) I have burned several other brands and some pellets will make my stove glass very sooty in just a short time, not so with the Lumber Jack Brand. Another feature I like about these pellets is the fact that I had a dozen bags left over from last year, and had no damage to the pellets. i.e. swelling or clumping. Lumber Jack Brand uses a thicker plastic that does not tear or stretch and break easily. In my opinion, if you haven't tried these pellets yet, it will be worth your time to try a few bags to see the difference what a good pellet can do for you.

Please Keep In Mind the Following;

1. Include the make and or model of stove.
2. Over exaggerated and over the top comments will be deleted.
3. Try to be as objective as possible along with considering the fact that you may not have cleaned your stove in years.
4. If you do not practice, at least, monthly cleaning then please don't bother leaving any feedback. Your comments are worthless.
