These pellets burned very nicely in my stove. The ash was very minimal and the heat output was great. The color was darker than I remember the Nature's Heat Pellets which through up a red flag at first. However, all was good during the burn.
The one draw back is that I have only seen these pellets at Walmart who does not deliver.

Just bought and burned 5 bags and am purchasing two tons to finish this season and start next years. These are not bad..The heat output is lower causing us to set the heat range up a setting or two. But that doesn't impact consumption horribly..Not inordinately ashy,minimal clinkers,not a lot of fines. And much less expensive than hotter brands here at $210 ton.

I have burned the Pennington Pellets for two years now mostly because they are the only thing I can get locally. I get good heat from them clunkers vary from purchase to purchase but never a big problem I clean my Harmen P68 once a week but check for clunkers every day. I would guess that I get one box of ash for every ton I burn. I burn three to four tons a year. I noticed the stove burned hotter when i added the out outside air supply. I have been paying about 235 to 250 a ton at ACE HARDWARE in OHIO but usually receive a ten dollar coupon in the mail for each purchase to use at ACE.
