We offer premium 100% softwood pellets from Maine Woods Pellet Company, located in Athens, Maine. This pellet is 100% Pine. The raw materials for these pellets come from sustainable woodlands that are owned and managed by certified Master Loggers.

Maine Woods pellets meet or exceed all the specifications of a premium pellet: Consistent hardness and energy content; uniform dimension (less than 1.5 inches long); limited sawdust (amount of fines passing through .125 inch screen no more than .5 percent by weight); low salt content (no more than 300 parts per million); and low ash content, an important factor in maintenance frequency.

I burned 2 ton of the Maine Woods softwood this winter will end up at about 2 1/2 ton burned, I had very good luck, good heat low ash I tried 3 bags of a canadian softwood not enough difference to change they are about 65 dollars more a ton,I have a Qudra Fire Mt Vernon, will be burning Maine Woods soft agin this year if I can get them I am heating a 1600 square ft home 100% with pellets love the heat,

One word caution for the price ill buy a better pellet the extra money will be worth it lots of fines ! Burning from bag to bag very different ! Glass dirty all the time not a good smell burning or just sitting in the cellar ! You'd think with all the trees in Maine they could come up with a better product !
