Funded by Co owners' equity - Management Team's and GF Energy's, government grant and bank loans. After more than four years in planning and construction, Trebio will start producing and marketing wood pellets in the second quarter of 2011 from their new facility in Portage-du-Fort, Québec in Eastern Canada.

The plant site is a deserted wood pulp plant with buildings already in place and rail connection directly into the buildings. Trebio is a company registered in Canada jointly owned by the Canadian and UK management teams and GF Energy of the Netherlands. I own king hard wood only stove. I wish companies would label if they selling hard wood or soft pellets. softwood just jams the auger...I normally get my pellets from gildale farms. that only reason I won't buy trebio pellets again...

I have a Harman P38 pellet stove. I have tried Can Wick from Canadian Tire, a New Brunswick brand from Kent B Supplies and Eastern Embers from Nova Scotia. Now trying Trebio from Wal Mart. Will offer an opinion later as first bag is in the hopper now. For central NL, Trebio are the best price.

I have an Enviro Windsor FS stove and have tried various fuel settings this year and damper settings but to no avail in order to try and get efficient heat versus ash and clinker buildup, but with not much success. I wouldn't rate Trebio brand this year at all. I haven't had any positive results with burning this brand in my stove this year. Seemingly the product had somehow changed since last year as it seemed better quality last year compared to this year. I'm going to switch to another brand particularly hardwood pellets as it seems I've found a manufacturer which has a better product.

Bought these pellets at a very good price at Walmart. I have been using a Quadrafire Classic Bay stove for many years. Great success with Eastern Ember softwood pellets, however the Trebio pellets are a terrible product! Low heat output combined with the worst clickers I have ever experienced. Had to beat them out after a few days use. My stove has a "dump" option to let clickers drop out the bottom when a lever is pulled. The buildup was so dramatic that this was not possible after a half day and I regularly had clickers three inches or more thick that would stop the stove from operating.
Strongly suggest these pellets be avoided....

We bought 5 bags the other day at Walmart when we ran out. Four years ago, we bought our pellet stove and 4 years ago I began coughing, to the point that I am now on Advair, a steroid inhaler. We have switched pellets, to conclude it was the pellets making me cough. We have used Curran, Cubex and many others, the outcome never changed. I have an appointment with an allergist in March. Then we used these Trebio pellets, it has been like a miracle... no coughing. This lends me to question, what was in the other pellets? The Trebio pellets also burn cleaner, less dust when removed from the bag and they burn hot. From now on, they are the only pellets we will use.

We have tried various types of pellets in our stove the Harman pellet pro.
Tebio has been the best. Heat output is much higher and the stove runs quieter than with Canwick or McFeeters. Some clinkers but they decreased when we turned the feed rate down to low. This is a slow burn but lasts 23 hours for a bag. Fine ash medium amount. We clean once a week pot and burn tray, and have had great luck. The glass is smutty with all the brands we use. Just slightly less so with the Trebio. cost is about $4.89/bag and we get it at WalMart. It is our primary source of heat.
